A huge pay raise made the choice a lot easier. We love crazy Beirut, and K had been offered an ESL teaching position here. But at Baku (photo at right--looks a lot like Beiru
t!), T alone will make what he and K together would make in Beirut. And K can hopefully find some ESL work in Baku. The school also offers better benefits, like yearly R&R to London--how civillised!
